Modder JaySerpa has uploaded their latest Skyrim project. This one is guaranteed to garner some additional attention for any mage who favors black magic, as this mod makes it so that NPCs will react whenever necromancy is witnessed in public. A brief video shows that, whenever the player does something like resurrect a corpse or have a skeleton wander around with them, people will have negative things to say about the practice. For example, one guard calls it «disgusting» and urges the player to get away from them.

While it doesn't seem as though characters will do anything physical in retaliation, it does add to the negative connotations of being someone who walks around resurrecting the dead. Necromancy in Skyrim enables players to have an army of the undead at their disposal. There are a number of conjuration spells that the Dragonborn can utilize, though the practice itself is generally considered to be quite taboo and a little morbid. However, in combat it can be a very useful skill, though this mod makes it so that players might feel a little bit of shame about doing it in polite company.
