ILL, in development by the new studio Team CLOUT, is built with Unreal Engine 5. The engine gives the monsters, locations, and combat mechanics an eerily realistic atmosphere perfect for fans of fast-paced horror games like Back 4 Blood and Left 4 Dead.

As reported by GamesRadar, ILL's teaser shows haunting hallways filled with wet audio as the player stalks the game's decaying environments. Ammo will be scarce while fans avoid or battle terrifying creatures. ILL's designs seem heavily inspired by John Carpenter's The Thing, which many call the greatest horror movie of all time.
