Shang-Chi is Taking On Every Marvel Villain in Epic Trailer for New Series

Marvel Comics has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming Shang-Chi series relaunch, one where the martial arts hero's new status quo and powerful weapons will be turning the heads of almost every major villain organization. With Shang-Chi having gained the same Ten Rings he recently inherited in the MCU, he's rapidly become one of the most formidable forces in the entire Marvel Universe. As such, it looks as though everyone wants a piece of the Five Weapons' Supreme Commander and his new Ten Rings.

Previously in Marvel's Shang-Chi, the son of the late Zheng Zu inherited his throne as Supreme Commander of the Five Weapons Society. While the organization had been a powerful crime syndicate in the past, Shang-Chi has been attempting to turn it into a force for good under his leadership. However, there were some significant bumps in the road such as Shang-Chi temporarily losing the trust of his fellow Avengers and his mother being kidnapped and taken to the realm of Ta-Lo. That being said, the end result was Shang-Chi inheriting the Ten Rings, seemingly the very same ones his live-action counterpart has in the MCU.

Now, Shang-Chi will be retitled as Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings to reflect his newfound weapons while still retaining the same creative duo of Gene Luen Yang and Marcus To. Confirmed to be as powerful as the Infinity Gems, a newly released trailer for Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings #1 sees several villains wanting to get their hands on Shang-Chi's new weapons. This includes what appears to be Razor Fist, The Hand, AIM, Hydra, Mr. Negative's Demons, and more.
