introduces a new cast of heroes, gods, and other characters from classical mythology that you can interact with to unlock special Keepsakes to use on your next run. Keepsakes are gifts given by different allies that provide passive bonuses that could mean a run's success or failure. The characters you favor the most will be the ones likely to gift you with items representing their trust and admiration.
Keepsakes are similar to Boons gifted by the various gods present in , but these items are more personal and last throughout multiple runs if you choose to equip them. While Boons reset, Keepsakes will remain among your valuable arsenal for repeated use. Each Keepsake acts as a reward for deepening your bond with various characters you may meet or unlock throughout different attempts.

In the same way as the original, you receive Keepsakes from characters after you give them multiple gifts of Nectar from your travels. Nectar is a somewhat rare resource you can discover during a run and acts as a thoughtful gift that every character would enjoy receiving. Gods and former mortal heroes alike will be quite pleased if Melinoë in delivers them a jar of rare Nectar.
To give a character Nectar, simply walk up to them and select the option from an interaction with them. Choose the Nectar item from the grid provided and give the figure the item to receive a Keepsake in return. Some characters will not accept Nectar until your relationship has deepend from specific story events.
