Brackenhide Hollow is one of the challenging dungeons with an unorganized group, so today we are bringing you a weekly tip specifically targeting an important skip that will shave off a few seconds of your overall dungeon timer. And no, we are not talking about fancy boss starts or any sus cheesy stuff!
Skipping Stinkbreath in Mythic+The centre of the weekly tip is Stinkbreath, an extremely dangerous mini-boss that can cause your team to wipe because of its Stink Breath frontal ability causing you to be Disoriented. Yes, this even applies to tanks, making them lose aggro on the mob, which is never a pleasant detail. However, there is a way to entirely skip this mob (no you can't use invisibility to pass through it as the mob has a true vision):
The first option is to have a Priest using Mind Soothe on Stinkbreath, then wait until he is closer to the beginning of the bridge and jump on the side. We have provided video footage of how to do it down below. The second option is to have any class with a combat reset pulling Stinkbreath away from the group while you pass through the bridge. Hunter with Feign Death. Rogue with Vanish. Mage with Invisibility. Or any class that is Night Elf race, using their Shadowmeld. Why Should You Skip Stinkbreath?Stinkbreath is extremely dangerous, especially on Fortified weeks where depending on key level can cause one-shots, not only for your tank but also for your melee players. The consequence of «eating» one if Stink Breath can be deadly.
For a tank player being Disoriented means that you lose the aggro of the mob and therefore create an immense danger for the rest of your team. As a melee player, it means that without a defensive cooldown, you will be put in dire danger. Read more on wowhead.com
