John Wick and Horizon star Lance Reddick passed away earlier this year in March at the age of 60. He played Sylens in Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, a travelling archaeologist who founded both the Eclipse and Sons of Prometheus, helping Aloy to uncover the truth of the machines. To commemorate his time with Horizon, developer Guerrilla Games has added an in-game tribute that all players can find and pay their respects to.
The memorial was added in this week's patch which fans were quick to find (as reported by GamingBible). "I only noticed this on my second playthrough," Sfalj posted in the Horizon subreddit, attaching a photo of the tribute. "For those wondering, it's on the first island you visit (crash land on) in the DLC. The island where you meet Seyka for the first time."

As you can see in their screenshot, the memorial is just in front of the obscured Hollywood sign. It's a floating transparent disc with "Lance Reddick" written in the middle, which we can see Aloy sitting beside. One user, horizon-gamer, even shared the exact spot on the map for any who wishes to make the journey to reach this spot.
According to Reddit user -Poison_Ivy-, the placement of this tribute has even more meaning to it than simply being an easy-to-spot location at the start of the DLC. "Funnily enough its [...] where the walk of fame in Hollywood is", they commented. "Look in front and behind his memorial and there are other 'stars' that don't display names."
A YouTuber called Elkyri shared a video of how they reached the memorial, showing what happens when you get close. Touching music begins to play as you reach its vicinity while a faint humming sound can be heard.
