Aerial Captures are a new type of collectable in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, taking you up into the sky for some airborne views. As part of our Horizon Forbidden West guide, we're going to show you where to find all the Aerial Captures.
Below, we have outlined where to find all Aerial Captures in Burning Shores, along with how to solve them. You can locate their rough locations by pinging the Focus with R3 — this will temporarily highlight an area in pink. There are 6 Aerial Captures in total.
Once you reach the location of an Aerial Capture, interact with it and it will add a new marker to your map. Fly to this location, and a flight path will appear. Follow this trail all the way along. You'll receive audio logs that provide some lore about the area. At the end of the trail, press R3 to activate the Aerial Capture and «collect» it.
This Aerial Capture's starting location is to the eastern side of the map, north of Cauldron: THETA.
Travel to the Campfire near the lava flow and follow the road northwest. To the left you'll see some ruins, where this Aerial Capture is located.
This Aerial Capture's starting location is right at the north edge of the map, situated near a Devotee Outpost.
It's located on an overlook that stands out among all the greenery. The easiest way to reach it is to fly to the location and drop down, as its proximity to the Devotee Outpost means there are some enemies very close by.
This Aerial Capture's starting location is northeast of Fleet's End, near a Shelter and inside a ruined building.
From the Shelter, head southeast and climb up
