Honkai: Star Rail has revealed several quality-of-life changes that would make the game more intuitive for players. Version 2.2 of Honkai: Star Rail is almost here, with the developers revealing an array of new content that will be available in the next update. Two Penacony-based characters, Boothill and Robin, are already confirmed for version 2.2, which will be released on May 8.
Honkai: Star Rail gets a new update every month, introducing a variety of content players can enjoy within a given time. These updates purely focus on adding characters, events, and quality-of-life features that improve fundamental aspects of the game. In addition to all these, Honkai: Star Rail gives away Special Rail Passes in every patch to help players get their favorite units from temporary banners.
Before the release of version 2.2, Honkai: Star Rail revealed quality-of-life features that will be added in the upcoming update. The Trailblazer Profile will now display the player's recently completed events and challenges to their friends. A brand-new social feature will allow players to see their friends' clearance lineups within Honkai: Star Rail's Pure Fiction and Forgotten Hall. Moreover, Trailblazers will have access to the «Lineup Overview» option when managing their teams in version 2.2.
Honkai: Star Rail version 2.2 will introduce a helpful feature that eliminates the need for players to equip new relics and Light Cones when they switch the character's path. The character's equipped items will remain independent across different paths. It's safe to assume that this feature is for the Harmony Trailblazer, who will reportedly be released in version 2.2.
In the latest update, the Recommended Relics page will include a filtering function, and the enhancement result interface will show «Lock» and «Discard» options.
