The upcoming Hogwarts Legacy is set to be an action-adventure role-playing game with a diverse open world that is perfect for exploration. Being set mainly within the iconic wizarding school of Hogwarts, the story takes place during the 1890s, a fairly unexplored time period within the franchise. Players will be able to experience many facets of Hogwarts life within Legacy, with comprehensive character customization and the ability to choose a specific Hogwarts house to name a few.
The game will see players deeply engrossed in the lifestyle of a student at Hogwarts, which will lead to a «dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.» Players will be able to master a variety of spells, upgrade combat and traversal abilities, brew potions, and tame magical beasts as just a fraction of the expansive exploration. Hogwarts Legacy is being developed by Avalanche Software and is being published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
