Depending on the difficulty players choose in Raft, enemies may become hostile and threaten the rafter's life. For example, sharks will periodically eat the player's raft and attack them when they're underwater. Since a lot of important items only exist underwater, shark attacks can be really troublesome, making the animal a candidate for extermination.
There are only two weapons available in Raft; the Spear and the Bow. While fighting enemies like sharks can be done with Spears, there are some others that can hardly be beaten with a melee weapon, like, for example, the Screechers. To fight the evil, rock-throwing bird, it's highly advised to make a bow in Raft.
Beginner Tips For Raft
To craft a Basic Bow in Raft, players need to go through multiple steps to collect and assemble its materials. The Basic Bow needs six Planks, four Ropes, two Vine Goo, and one Bolt to be crafted. After reaching the shore, players must dive underwater and search for a Kelp forest. They’re a couple of tall green plants with shiny leaves that can be picked. After acquiring the Seaweeds, players must build a Smelter and drop them into it. The Smelter will then turn the Seaweeds into Vine Goo after a while.
Similar to Vine Goo, the item that is required to craft Bolts is also underwater. Players must dive to collect Metal Ores, then smelt them into Metal Ingots. The Smelter needs Planks to keep functioning in Raft,
