The Marvel Cinematic Universe has included a hidden Disney Easter egg in Avengers: Infinity War that turns Thor into the perfect Disney Princess. Characterized by their bravery, loyalty, and strength, Disney Princesses can also possess magical abilities, such as the ability to communicate with animals and Rapunzel's incredible hair. In an unexpected hidden detail, Marvel references the characteristics of a Disney Princess in none other than Thor, the God of Thunder.
Though Thor can easily pass as a Disney Princess with his golden flowing locks, his magical abilities, the loss of his parents, and his strength and bravery, it is a hidden detail in Avengers; Infinity War that connects him to the Native American Princess, Pocahontas. As Thor makes his iconic hero landing in Wakanda, sporting his newly forged ax, Stormbreaker, the creators ensured a powerful shot of Thor, Rocket, and Groot all striking a pose. This scene may look very familiar to long-time Disney fans, as it seems to mirror a trio found in the 1995 animated feature film, Pocahontas, in which the titular heroine is also seen with a sentient enchanted tree and a raccoon companion.

The trio of Groot, Rocket, and Thor is formed as they travel to Nidavellir in Avengers: Infinity War, where it is discovered Thor can understand Groot. While the Flora colossus that Thor affectionately calls «Tree» isn't an animal, the Asgardian's ability to easily and somewhat inexplicably commune with nature and the creatures around him certainly mirrors one of the most common attributes of a Disney Princess.
