A recent update to Hi-Fi Rush's Steam achievements list suggests that DLC could be on the way and could possibly be announced at Xbox's upcoming Summer Showcase.
Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the biggest and best surprises of 2022 so far is Hi-Fi Rush, which was announced and shadow-dropped on the same day all the way back in Xbox's first Developer Direct of the year. Despite some claims a few months ago that Hi-Fi Rush was considered a failure due to its sales (something that was quickly disputed by Xbox), it seems that we might actually be getting more from Chai, 808, and the gang.

As pointed out by Twitter user IdleSloth84_, Hi-Fi Rush's SteamDB page was recently updated to add ten new achievements to the game. All ten of the achievements are marked as hidden and titled "TBA" with a corresponding number, which seems to indicate that whoever has updated the game to add the achievements was aware that they might be found and has at least hidden what the actual contents are.
Because we can't see what any of the achievements are for, it's a little hard to speculate on what's going on here, but it appears that Hi-Fi Rush is either going to get a sizeable free update of some kind with some fun new achievements, or there's going to be a story expansion of some kind that's sold as DLC.
Out of the two options, it seems more likely that these achievements are tied to an expansion. Hi-Fi Rush has already had some smaller pieces of DLC since it released, including a Vandelay bosses cosplay pack that came out in April, but that pack didn't come with any kind of achievements, which suggests that whatever is happening here is substantially bigger.
