Helldivers 2 has plenty of weapons and firepower at your disposal to help spread democracy, but just like with every online game these days, players have been attempting to create meta builds and streamline their loadouts to ensure they're doing as much damage as possible. It's not really in the spirit of the game, especially if you're chastising other players for using weapons that may not be optimal, but there's every chance the weapons you're not using are better than they appear on paper.

Pilestedt goes on to urge players to simply use the weapons that they like using the most, rather than chase any current metas going around, though there is a little bit of pushback from a selection of fans. Many claim that players just naturally figure out the best weapons through playing the game, and that many are forced to use the SG-225 Breaker to merely survive on the higher difficulties.
Then you have a bunch of stat nerds calling on Pilestedt to give them the numbers they so desperately crave, and that fighting against a meta is a
