Halo Infinite on Legendary difficulty can often be a frustrating endeavor, especially when facing a pack of Berserker Brutes. While Halo Infinite gives players many ways to fight them, one player takes a rather unorthodox tactic that is surprisingly effective and very entertaining.
Brutes have been a part of the Halo series going back toHalo 2, but they have always struggled in finding a true place within the typical combat hierarchy. They traditionally have behaved like Elites in the sense that they are typically a dominant faction on the battlefield, but are just physically superior to Elites, rarely ever using shielding technology. In Halo Infinite though, Berserker Brutes have given the species meaning in combat, charging the player in a fit of rage and ignoring incoming fire. More generally, Brutes have some new tricks up their sleeves, occasionally throwing Grunts at the player in Halo Infinite.

Reddit user Truckle-Chuckle has found a pretty neat trick to dispatchingHalo Infinite's Berserker Brutes on Legendary difficulty. In the hilarious post on the Halo subreddit, Truckle-Chuckle outwits a Berserker Brute into jumping off the edge of the map by jumping off themselves before simply climbing back up using the Grappleshot. Once Truckle-Chuckle climbs back up onto ground, they look back down over the side and watch the Brute fall to their sad demise. The Grappleshot revolutionizes Halo Infinite's gameplay in a multitude of ways, but one of the most simple ones is that players can simply save themselves from falling out of bounds.
