Halo Infinite's Cyber Showdown event has introduced a plethora of flashy and bright cosmetics, but not all of them have been working properly. Players wanting the crooked armor effects in Halo Infinite to be fixed are going to have to wait a bit, as they will not be formally addressed until the start of Season 2.
From issues with the monetization in the item shop, to the limited selection of freely-attainable armor pieces, the cosmetic situation inHalo Infinite has had a lot of issues going against it. To 343 Industries' credit, it has steadily been experimenting with these troublesome areas, like adding individual items for sale in Halo Infinite's shop and giving players free cosmetics through events like Cyber Showdown. Unfortunately though, even when 343 Industries does something mostly right, there are often still little things that end up souring the experience, in this case it being the armor effects from Cyber Showdown—the holographic visor and Mohawk aren't properly aligned to Spartans' helmets.

In an update on Halo Waypoint's forums, 343 Industries confirms Halo Infinite's asymmetrical armor effects won't be fixed until Season 2. The news comes from Unyshek, the Community Manager at 343 Industries, who after speaking about some of Halo Infinite's other developments, addresses the unaligned Cyber Showdown Neon Screen and Neon Hawk effects. «Don't worry though,» Unyshek starts, «we've busted out our levels and protractors and will get these centered when Season 2 rolls around.» Halo Infinite's Season 1 lasts until May 2022, meaning these effects will remain crooked for at least another three months until Season 2 begins.
