It's been over six months since Halo Infinite Season 1: Heroes of Reach kicked off, and round two is now underway. Season 2 of Halo Infinite, Lone Wolves, is much more than just another multiplayer season. Tons of additions have been made in the form of all-new maps, several game modes, Endless Weapon Drills, loads of balance changes, and even improved AI bots have made it into the Season 2 update.
Halo Infinite's multiplayer component launched last November and was initially very popular due to its free-to-play model and owing to the fact that it was the latest entry into the classic multiplayer franchise. However, numbers began to fall off shortly after release, with players citing a lack of new content, poor performance, shallow customization, and a lack of co-op multiplayer. Fortunately, 343 Industries appears to be making an effort to address many of these complaints, with plans to revamp the armor core system in Halo Infinite and having introduced an impressive amount of new content for its second season.

New maps and modes are often welcome in a multiplayer shooter, and Season 2 is bringing several of each into the fold. For Big Team Battle, 343 Industries is introducing the Breaker map, a Banished ship-breaking yard with a long center lane providing access to vehicles (and an easy target for ambushers). The map is available in the Big Team Battle playlist, the new Last Spartan Standing playlist, and Custom Games.
In regards to Arena, Catalyst is a new map set within a Forerunner structure with a light bridge connecting each side of the arena. Catalyst can be played on most Arena playlists, including Ranked. New modes including Last Spartan Standing
