Halo Infinite's creative head Joseph Staten has admitted that the game's second season launch has been "bumpy".
Lone Wolves, Halo Infinite's second season, debuted earlier this week after a long wait for the community. Although reception to the features within the update have been positive, the launch of the season has seen its fair share of issues, including changes that impact the speedrunning community and the removal of popular jump spots within maps.

Halo Infinite's creative head Joseph Staten has admitted on Twitter that the launch of this new season has been "bumpy", but promised that the team is taking feedback to heart and will hopefully make some changes to the known issues.
Staten said, "Hey Spartans, this week has been bumpy. That definitely wasn't our goal. We are indeed taking your feedback to heart, especially regarding map jumps and speedrunning. We're reviewing options and will have more news to come."
Staten isn't the only member of 343 that has taken to Twitter to discuss some of the issues with the Lone Wolves season. John Junyszek, senior community manager at 343, also spoke out about the issues, saying, "We've seen the feedback around changes that impacted various multiplayer jumps and campaign speedrun strategies. We're not at the point where we can promise anything yet, but want to be transparent and say that we're taking the feedback seriously and reviewing options internally."
Junyszek also said that, "to help make things right", 343 will be giving players five XP boosts and five challenge swaps to those who log in during the Interference event, as well as reducing the difficulty of event challenges and
