Cantha is an immense region with tons of new places to explore. And, with new maps come new achievements to complete! This article details how to complete one in the Seitung Province of Cantha, called 'Authorial Intent.'
The name of the achievement is a thinly veiled hint as to which person you need to track down in Cantha. You'll only remember this character if you got through all of the content from the fifth living world season: The Icebrood Saga.
Snargle Goldclaw is an author, mostly of smutty romance novels. Many of his characters are clearly inspired by real people - including the Commander! During The Icebrood Saga, Goldclaw and his assistant, Bonnie, were traveling in search of inspiration when Goldclaw fell under Drakar's spell. However, he was freed when Drakar was finally slain and eventually met the Commander at the Eye of the North.

Snargle Goldclaw can be found at the Shing Jea Monestary. He is talking to his publisher, Kippo, about his most recent manuscript up on one of the higher balconies. If you start from the Shing Jea Waypoint and head northwest, following the stairs, he's easy to locate!
You'll be able to ask Snargle and Kippo several questions about what they're doing here but, to get the achievement, just be sure to select and listen to all of Snargle Goldclaw's dialogue options.
