Talk of Grand Theft Auto 6 has been really hotting up lately. Not that it ever truly died down, but with GTA 5 being one of the highest grossing video games of the decade, fans are eager for the next installment and have been for some time now. Sadly, there may still be a couple of years to wait. But in the meantime, there are plenty of rumors, theories, and leaks, including one which states that an announcement may be on the way soon.
Over on the GTA forums, as reported by PCGamesN, GTA Online players have spotted a piece of audio that may or may not hint at some forthcoming details about Grand Theft Auto 6. Basically, in the game, the radio announcer can be heard saying something about how tropical storms are coming «next week.» It sounds very tenuous at best, but it's got some people thinking that this could be an Easter egg about the next entry in the series. The fact that it mentions these storms has a few people thinking that this relates to a place that is prone to tropical weather. Vice City, which is based off Miami, is such a place.

As many are probably already aware, it's been heavily suggested that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be set in Vice City, or at least a more up-to-date version of the location from the classic 2002 installment, which also begins with a tropical storm warning. It should go without saying that the radio announcement in GTA Online could easily be nothing, but it isn't stopping the rumor mills from churning. Suffice it to say, best to go into this with several thousand grains of salt. If there is some official news about GTA 6 next week, that'll be fantastic, but there's every possibility that this Easter egg means nothing.
