In 2016, Niantic officially released the augmented reality game, Pokemon Go. At the time of its release, the game received mixed reviews for its lack of content and technical issues. Despite this, the game helped reinvigorate the Pokemon franchise into the popular conscience and has been an incredibly profitable product. Like all video games, however, Pokemon Go is occasionally prone to bugs.
As mentioned above, the game initially had a lot of technical and performance issues. Many of Pokemon Go's issues were patched out in a 2016 update, but problems still remain. For the most part, however, the bugs in the game are harmless, giving Pokemon a different look or making them run in a peculiar way. Sometimes, however, these bugs can result in something far more horrifying.

One Pokemon Go bug, for example, caused Typhlosion to apparently fuse with a Misdreavus. This gave the creature a similar look to the Hisuian Typhlosion in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. In a more recent example, a number of Pokemon fused into some kind of monstrosity that looks like something out ofElden Ring. In a recent post, Reddit user Grimm64209 shared the Pokemon Go abomination on the Elden Ring page, and it's genuinely difficult to tell what Pokemon are fused into this thing.
In the post, Grimm64209 implied that the fused Pokemon bore a resemblance to theElden Ring boss, Godrick the Grafted. Godrick the Grafted was hated in the world of Elden Ringand took to fusing additional limbs to his body in order to obtain more power. The caption for the image reads also reads «I command thee kneel!!!»; a reference to a weapon skill that is only available with the Axe of Godrick.
