Google Pixel 6 has been extremely limited to just a few markets around the world, and only now is slowly reaching more markets. Last month, Google made the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro available in Italy and Spain. And now, these phones have gone on sale in Singapore! Hence, if you want to get your self a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro in India, you can now import it, or get one via a relative from Singapore. The Pixel 6 costs SGD 999 and is available in Stormy Black and Sorta Seafoam.
The bigger Pixel 6 Pro is selling there at a price of SGD 1,299, and is available in Cloudy White and Stormy Black colours. Note that the Singapore variants are missing one colour option, which can be had in the western markets. Additionally, only the 128GB storage variant is available in Singapore for now. Google has also gone on to offer Pixel 6 cases for both the models, starting at SGD 49.
The arrival of the Pixel 6 comes at a time when Google is removing the older Pixel 4a from sale across several markets. In India, Google does not sell any Pixel device officially, as the Pixel 4a has been taken down from the Google store in India. However, you can still buy leftover stocks of the same on Flipkart and other retailers.
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are the first Google phones that have used tehir own chipset instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon version. The Tensor chip is Google’s 5nm chip against the likes of the Snapdragon 888, Apple A15, and MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Google also went up with a funky design theme this year, embracing a new design direction for future Pixel devices. The Pixel 6 Pro also brings a triple camera setup to the mix, with the new one being a 48MP telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom and OIS.
