Google is all set to host its annual developer conference — Google I/O 2022 today on May 11. The event will begin with a keynote address from Alphabet Inc CEO Sundar Pichai. During its two day conference, Google is expected to announce an array of consumer-centric offerings, from Android OS, to Chrome OS, Google Play and Maps. The company has also been teasing what all we should expect from the upcoming Google I/O through a poll on Twitter. In a tweet from its Material Design Twitter handle, the tech giant asked users, “What are you excited about?” and given options - variable type fonts, design and accessibility, and chatting with our team.
Google has already hinted at the launch for its upcoming Android 13 mobile operating system. The company has already rolled out the first beta preview of the Android 13 OS last month and now it is expected to release the second beta version of the OS and reveal a little bit more about the key features of the Android 12 successor.
Google is likely to unveil the Pixel 6A smartphone during the Google I/O 2022 event. Tipster Mukul Sharma, has even suggested that the phone has already entered testing in India. The upcoming Pixel 6A is tipped to arrive with a 90Hz 6.2-inch FHD+ display and powered by Google’s in-house Tensor chipset. Additionally, the phone is expected to be backed by6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, and a 4,5000mAh battery.
The third launch on the list is the much awaited Pixel Watch. Google was reportedly working on a WearOS-based smartwatch dubbed as the Pixel Watch and this could be the year to unveil Pixel Watch. Going by the reports, Google’s Pixel Watch is speculated to come with a circular design, physical crown, and Fitbit integration.
