Millie Bobby Brown delivers a spot-on impression of her Stranger Things co-star Winona Ryder. Brown will return to her iconic role as Eleven in the Netflix series in just under two weeks for the first time since 2019. Eleven, now living with the Byers family in California following the emotional finale of season 3, will have to deal with fitting in at her school while also navigating life without the telekinetic powers she gained through dangerous experiments. With a new threat from the Upside Down, Eleven will likely be thrust into the midst of another perilous conflict.
Ryder's character, Joyce Byers, has acted as a motherly figure to Eleven ever since the first season of the series. Joyce comforted Eleven as she tried to connect with Joyce's son Will (Noah Schnapp) in the void between their world and the Upside Down. While Jim Hopper (David Harbour) remained Eleven's main caretaker between seasons 2 and 3, the supposed death of Hopper led Joyce to taking Eleven in with her family before making the move to California. Thus, there's little doubt that this close relationship between Eleven and Joyce has had an effect on both Brown and Ryder.

Brown has shown off the full effect of their closeness by providing a spot-on impression of Ryder. On The Tonight Show, Brown was asked by Jimmy Fallon if she had any good impressions. Brown shared that she and Schnapp often do a back-and-forth impression of Will and Joyce from Stranger Things season 1, when Will was calling out to Joyce and Joyce was trying her best to respond.
