Newly revealed cover art features Godzilla getting an upper hand over the Power Rangers' Dragonzord in an epic mech vs kaiju clash. Godzilla vs. Power Rangers has released its first issue as well as its first variant covers. This kaiju match-up has already proved to be explosive and larger than life.
Published by IDW Publishing, Godzilla vs. Power Rangers puts Rita Repulsa and the Power Rangers in the world of the King of Monsters. The first issue has released, beginning an epic crossover that fans of both franchises should definitely be excited for. If the series' premise and the promise of action-packed monster battles weren't enough, a look at variant cover art for the Godzilla and Power Rangers crossover should definitely seal the deal on just how intense this meet-up is.

On Twitter, colorist Matt Herms shared the cover art he created with comic artist Alex Sanchez for Godzilla vs. Power Rangers #1. He also announced that each of the series' five issues will also receive variant covers from the duo. If this first cover is anything to go by, the next several variants are sure to be stunning. This is especially true since multiple monsters from both franchises are slated to appear within the series, not just Godzilla and the Power Rangers' Zords.
