BOOM! Studios, the publisher of the Power Rangers comics (under license by Hasbro, Inc.), has announced a spectacular event that will lead to the milestone 100th issue of the best-selling series. «Charge to 100» begins in April 2022 and it will involve both Power Rangers' ongoing comics, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Power Rangers.
The Power Rangers are a global pop culture phenomenon that began when Saban Entertainment first adapted the Japanese Super Sentai TV Show for Western audiences. Since then, the franchise has spawned 29 television seasons, three theatrical movies, one of the most successful toy lines in history (produced first by Bandai and then by Hasbro, which now owns the entire franchise), and several comic books. Starting in 2015, BOOM! Studios acquired the Power Rangers comics license and has since produced many award-winning series.
