Capcom has announced plans to hold a Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event next month.
Hosted by Monster Hunter Rise director Yoshitake Suzuki, the presentation promises to reveal fresh gameplay details, new monsters and more.
It will be held on May 10 at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm BST.
Last month Capcom confirmed a Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak release date of June 30, 2022.
In order to play the upcoming expansion, users will be required to own the base Monster Hunter Rise game, which was released for Switch in March 2021 and for PC in January 2022.

The paid DLC will include new stories, locations and monsters, as well as newly added hunting actions and Master Rank quest difficulty.
There will be a standard digital-only edition of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, a Deluxe Edition including bonus content such as layered armour sets, gestures, and hairstyle, and a new Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak edition for Switch (physical or digital) and PC (digital-only).
Capcom will also release three new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak amiibo for Switch. The Malzeno-inspired amiibo will unlock special layered armour for hunters, Palamutes and Palicos.
Effective this month, the Resident Evil publisher raised employees’ base salaries by 30% in Japan, ahead of an expected fifth consecutive year of record profits.
