In just over a month, one of Capcom's most anticipated title expansions, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, will be released on the market. The team is amping up excitement for the game with regular updates on social media, whether it is about the new monster hunt footage or interesting features of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Now, Capcom has announced that another Sunbreak digital event is taking place this May and that the team is going to reveal more information about the expansion.
The most recent Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event happened last March, and during that livestream, Capcom revealed the expansion's official release date for June 2022. Alongside providing snippets of the new area Elgado, key locale The Citadel, and even the variety of new NPCs the hunter will meet, the team also revealed both new and returning monsters that will appear in Sunbreak. Context about the main monsters of the expansion — the Malzeno, Lunagaron, and Garangolm — was shared during the digital event, including the monsters' crucial roles in the main story of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
