The Flash’s iconic logo doesn’t just look cool, it also has a clever practical use as well. This additional use is a testament to the Flash’s innovative thinking and shows a deep knowledge of his opponent’s tactics and weaknesses. Which is impressive given the variety of villains in his rogue’s gallery.
The Flash’s rogue gallery is second only to Batman’s in the DC Universe. His villains all have distinctive personalities and power sets, and many are incredibly popular. Having so many villains forces Flash to adapt his fighting style to a variety of different threats, but this isn’t much of an issue for him. Both Barry and Wally are incredibly smart and can think faster than non-speedsters, enabling them to come up with new strategies on the fly. In addition, the Flash cares about the well-being of his villains, having more hope that they will rehabilitate themselves than other heroes who just care about putting their enemies behind bars. Given this level of consideration given to his villains, it makes sense that the Flash would have ways to combat their unique abilities built into his very suit.
