Now a new addition to the Cyberpunk 2077 family has been confirmed. Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City is a new board game from CD Projekt Red and CMON, and it's already a success on Kickstarter.
As is standard practice for most major board game announcements, Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City's announcement coincided with the launch of a crowdfunding effort. As is also standard practice, publisher CMON set a surprisingly modest goal for its Kickstarter campaign: $100,000. The result is that Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City has already blown past its $100,000 goal in the first few hours of the campaign, passing $250,000 with over two weeks left to raise funds.
New Cyberpunk Red Board Game Will Take Place in 2045
Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City is a competitive board game intended to be played with 1-4 players. Players will be able to choose a story for how the game progresses, a unique gang for each individual player, and will then use units from the gang to spread their influence across Night City. The Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City board itself will represent Night City, split up into multiple regions. Players' units will be represented by full mini-figurines.
