GMK has just announced that it will launch its brand new Mini PCs featuring Intel's 1st Gen Meteor Lake & 14th Gen Raptor Lake CPUs.
Announced as a partnership with Intel China, GMKtec has revealed that they plan to introduce the brand new Intel 1st Gen Meteor Lake & 14th Gen Raptor Lake-powered Mini PCs this year. The PC vendor was the first to launch its Mini PC featuring the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS "Phoenix" APU as the part of the NucBox K4 which is currently listed for $519 US.
According to the press release, GMKtec will offer a range of products based on the two Intel CPU product lineups. The company states that its main focus will be on the 1st Gen Meteor Lake CPU family which will be branded under the new "Core Ultra" series and feature Core 5 Ultra, Core 7 Ultra, and Core 9 Ultra SKUs. The disaggregated and hybrid design offered by Meteor Lake CPUs will definitely offer a nice boost over existing Raptor Lake and Alder Lake chips.
As for the 14th Gen parts, the Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs will also see a range of Mini PC options from GMKtec. These will mainly offer increased clock speeds with a slightly higher power. Note that there are also Raptor Lake Refresh chips branded under the 1st Gen "Core" series but those aren't part of the 14th Gen family. The 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh family only includes desktop & high-end "HX" SKUs for laptops.
Furthermore, it is revealed that the GMKtec Mini PCs will additionally pack an iGPU equivalent to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and up to an RTX 3050 (35W) GPU. Intel Xe-LPG graphics featuring Alchemist GPUs should offer great iGPU performance.
