Limited Run, the site all about indie games and physcial releases, had its annual showcase today, announcing physical versions of some classic indie titles as well as new games to play for the very first time. We got a whole bunch of interesting announcements during the showcase, but one of the biggest surprises had to be the announcement of a Clock Tower remaster, which will be launching at some point next year.
For those that have never heard of Clock Tower or may have been a little too young when it initially released, it's essentially a point and click horror game that was released back in 1995 that sees you play as a young woman called Jennifer as she attempts to escape a mansion while being stalked by the murderous Scissorman. It's very much a cult classic title, and one that's going to get a new lease of life thanks to its upcoming release on modern consoles.

As mentioned by Limited Run via its official Twitter account, the Clock Tower remaster will be launching in 2024, though a specific release date is yet to be revealed. The game will release digitally, but will also have a premium physcial release vias Limited Run too. Considering how the site operates, it's likely these will be in limited numbers, so make sure to keep an eye out if you really want to grab one.
The Clock Tower remaster is being developer by WayForward, the same developer behind the recent River City Girls Zero port, and will release for pretty much all systems including Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. That's all we know about the title so far, but either WayForward or Limited Run will likely give us more info closer to release.
