The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have had a good couple of years--between the retro-styled Shredder's Revenge, the upcoming Mutant Mayhem animated movie, and of course, the reverent Cowabunga Collection. That game release brought together 13 classic TMNT games, but for true shell-heads, the Limited Edition with all of its collector's goodies is now on sale too.
The sale at Woot brings the price down to $65, when it ordinarily goes for a whopping $150. In addition to the game compilation itself, including online and couch co-op multiplayer, you also get a cloth poster, acrylic diorama, enamel pin set, 12 translucent trading cards, and a 180-page art book.
The Cowabunga Collection was developed by Digital Eclipse, the studio that has made a name for itself by restoring old video games in compilations that take extra care to reproduce them accurately. The studio also put out Atari 50 last year, which merged playable classic Atari games with new footage for an interactive documentary.
The Cowabunga Collection discount is part of Woot's current blowout sale, as one of several retailers competing with Amazon for its Prime Day promotion. That means lots of other retailers like Target and Best Buy are hosting their own sales, so it's a good week to hunt down some bargains. Be sure to check out our roundups of all the best Prime Day deals for more.
