Doug Cockle says he has «full blown prostate cancer» and is advising men over 50 to get tested.

Actor Doug Cockle, who voices Geralt in The Witcher series, has revealed that he has cancer. «Full blown prostate cancer,» Cockle, who is 50, announced on Twitter.
In the wake of Cockle revealing his medical status, the wider Witcher community stepped up and showed their support for him as he undergoes treatment.
Cockle announced his cancer diagnosis publicly to his 20,000 followers to help raise awareness. He urged men over 50 to get a test, «just in case,» and re-tweeted an article from Prostate Cancer UK. Cockle said he had «no idea» he had prostate cancer and it wasn't until he had a «random check» from the doctor that he realized he had «full blown» cancer.
I had no idea. Random check and Boom… I have full blown prostate cancer. Treatment ongoing but looking good so far. Men over 50… get a PSA test… just in case.
