Genshin Impact has unveiled the Event Banners for the first half of Version 4.6, and it comes with a surprising change to its 4-Star character lineup. While 5-Star characters in Genshin Impact tend to be the biggest factor in determining an Event Banner’s popularity, certain 4-Star characters are much more valuable for starter accounts than others. More often than not, these happen to be 4-Star characters released near the launch of the game, such as Fischl or Xingqiu, whereas the newer additions tend to fill a certain niche.
Version 4.6 is set to introduce Arlecchino to Genshin Impact as a playable character, and as a Fatui Harbinger, she is expected to fill the role of a hypercarry. As an on-field Pyro Polearm user, Arlecchino's best healer options include Chevreuse for Overload teams and Bennett for everything else. Given her reliance on Normal Attacks, Yelan tends to be her best option for Vaporize, but a mono Pyro team with Kazuha is also possible. Her Bond of Life mechanic necessitates the use of a shield support, where Zhongli becomes the best option when not using Chevreuse.
Unfortunately, neither Chevreuse nor Bennett are slated to make an appearance on the Event Banners in the first half of Version 4.6, as HoYoverse has revealed the final lineup of characters in the upcoming patch. As expected, Freminet and Lynette will feature alongside Lyney and Arlecchino, thus completing the roster of the House of the Hearth. However, in lieu of giving Chevreuse her first re-run, Xiangling will be the final 4-Star character in Genshin Impact during Phase 1.
While this comes as a disappointment to players who were hoping to get more Chevreuse constellations in Genshin Impact, Xiangling's value to new accounts is significant because she remains one of the best off-field Pyro applicators in the entire game.
