Reddit user yagamasta has proposed a small change to the banner appearance and fans are loving it. The change includes displaying the current pity count for a banner. This would allow players to know how many wishes they have before reaching the 90-wish guarantee. At the moment, the only way to know a pity count is to open the wish history and count the items pulled after the last high rarity item.

This simple concept has been very well received in the community as it gathered over 9k upvotes at the time of this writing. In order to acquire a character or item though a banner, players are required to spend their Intertwined or Acquaint Fates which can be purchased by Primogems. Genshin Impact's limited character banners usually bring one five-star and three four-star characters. Because of their higher rarity, five-star characters are obviously harder to pull and players are guaranteed to get a five-star item every 90 wishes, but they can drop much sooner.
