Now, a number of Genshin Impact players are theorizing about a mysterious area on the map that may or may not have a purpose.
In the region of Liyue, players can find an area known as Guyun Stone Forest, which is a subarea of the Sea of Clouds. It is an archipelago composed of seven main islands and a number of smaller ones, with the northernmost island holding the Geo Hypostasis and the southwest island holding the Domain of Guyun. According to Liyue legend, Guyun Stone Forest is where the Geo Archon Rex Lapis defeated the sea monster deity known as Osial in the distant past.

Redditor thegrayyernaut shared a short video of themself running around Guyun Stone Forest as Hydro character Sangonomiya Kokomi in which they draw attention to a specific rock in the area. It seems that off the edge of one particular island, players can encounter what seems to be a small floating platform. The platform is clearly floating at the water's surface and appears to be made from a mixture of clear green jade and ordinary gray rock. In the accompanying text, thegrayyernaut states that they wish miHoYo would tell them what the platform is for.
