Genshin Impact Players Demand Buffs To Geo Element
Genshin Impact fans don't seem too satisfied with the current state of Geo, and they demand some buffs to the element. The game has seven different elements with Dendro being the most recent addition.
Genshin Impact's combat system relies on combining those elements in order to trigger various elemental reactions that lead to more damage. Reddit user TadpoleTraditional14 has posted an interesting thread on the game's official subReddit claiming that the Geo element works almost like a yellow version of Physical damage.

Geo is a unique element in Genshin Impact as it has the ability to work independently of all other elements. The only elemental reaction it can trigger is Crystalize which drops small elemental shards that provide a decent shield. The introduction of the new element also brought numerous new elemental reactions, none of which have any impact on Geo. As such, the Redditor claims that Geo might as well not exist since the game's combat system is very reliant on triggering various elemental reactions. Even though Anemo works similarly to Geo as it cannot Swirl with the new Dendro element, it can still trigger Dendro elemental reactions when infused with other elements.
The whole discussion caught a lot of attention in the community as the post reached over 4k upvotes. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that the only two ways HoYoverse could bring Geo back to the meta are either to significantly increase its damage numbers or if they give the element a complete overhaul that makes it more interactive with other elements.
