An important aspect of any video game’s main menu looks to be absent from the one in Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2 came out a few days to a generally favorable critical reception, although the aggregate is significantly lower than the review scores of the original Overwatch. Since its release, fans have been facing several issues with Overwatch 2, ranging from technical problems to troubles with some of its design decisions.
One Overwatch 2 player pointed out an issue with the game’s UI, as its menu options appear to be uneven. The image in this post shows an irregularity between the white and light blue tiles of the game’s menu. After noticing this detail, many players mentioned that they cannot unsee it, and some expressed shock at it passing QA testing. It looks like uneven tiles are not the only problem with Overwatch 2’s menus.

A Reddit user named bilawalm points out that Overwatch 2 does not have an “Options” menu as a part of its main menu. As seen in the image, the menus named Play, Heroes, Shop, and Battle Pass are highlighted in big bold letters. Players can find three other options under them titled Social, Career Profile, and Challenges. However, a proper options menu is nowhere to be seen as a part of the main list. An options menu allows users to change various aspects of a game including the graphics settings, controls, and audio levels, in addition to elements like colorblind mode.
