Overwatch 2 players are asking Blizzard to add a new feature to the game's Auto Queue system that will allow them to cancel their matchmaking search at the end of a game. Continuing on from the success of Overwatch, Overwatch 2 gives players a similar experience of team-based, FPS action. Considering the success of the first game and the fact that Blizzard made its sequel free-to-play, Overwatch 2 has seen a huge amount of players joining its servers in the time since its release.
While Overwatch 2 has had a lot of players battling each other in its casual and competitive modes, some fans have been pointing out the various problems in Blizzard's latest shooter. Firstly, plenty of Overwatch 2 fans found that they couldn't actually play the game when they wanted to log in due to the mass amount of people trying to join at launch. Since then, Blizzard has been working on plenty of other issues, including one problem that meant players couldn't unlock their Overwatch 2 heroes despite having earned them with the battle pass.

Now, players are again asking Blizzard to make a change to Overwatch 2, specifically in regard to its Auto Queue function. Reddit user MyGoodFriendJon pointed out that there should be an option to cancel Auto Queue matchmaking following a game's end. Currently, players can't simply click cancel and have to stop their search after it has begun. While this isn't a major problem in Overwatch 2, it would be a nice additional feature according to many players, as it would prevent them from automatically searching for another match even if they don't want to.
