A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more details about Baizhu and Kaveh, two new characters that are expected to join the playable roster in the upcoming months. Developer HoYoverse keeps expanding the game's pool of playable characters with every new update that arrives. It seems like they have introduced a pattern of adding one five-star and one four-star character in every new version of the game.
Genshin Impact's official social media accounts as well as their current beta phase have confirmed that the next update 3.5 will bring the five-star Pyro user Dehya and the four-star Cryo catalyst Mika. However, while these characters are yet to officially join the live servers, recent leaks have already revealed more details about two new characters that are apparently scheduled for 3.6.
Genshin Impact Concept Turns Yae Miko Into a Regular NPC
A new leak on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit gives more information about the two new Dendro users Baizhu and Kaveh. Baizhu was the first NPC to appear with a Dendro Vision in the game which at the time led many players to believe that he will be the first playable character to use this element. However, the fact that he's heavily tied with the Liyue region is probably the main reason why HoYoverse had to delay his release as Sumeru's characters were in the main spotlight in the last couple of updates. According to the post, Baizhu will provide buffs that grant resistance to interruption, Dendro damage, and Dendro resistance. The effects of these buffs will apparently have a medium duration.
