Gamescom 2024 will feature more exhibitors than ever before when it takes place in August.
That’s according to organiser Koelnmesse, which says the show will also feature a larger international participation than in previous years.
“Following the strong growth of last year, we expect to set new records with Gamescom, featuring even more exhibitors and greater international participation,” said Tim Endres, director of Gamescom.
“Fans, industry professionals, and partners from around the world can experience an even more diverse Gamescom this year with additions like the new social stage, cards & boards and artists areas.”
Gamescom Opening Night Live, the kick-off showcase hosted and produced by Geoff Keighley, will return on August 20, with the main event running from August 21-25.
“One thing is for sure: Gamescom 2024 will once again be the ultimate gaming festival,” commented Felix Falk, managing director of the German Games Industry Association.
“One of the key highlights is the growing international character of Gamescom, which is also attributable to the establishment of satellite events of gamescom asia and Gamescom latam.”
Gamescom 2024 organizers have yet to announce a full exhibitor list for the show, but exhibitors will include: 2K, Amazon Games, AMD, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Electronic Arts, Focus Entertainment, Hoyoverse, Konami, Krafton, Lego, Level Infinite, Meta Quest, NetEase Games, Nexon, Plaion, Sega, Square Enix, Team 17, The Pokémon Company, THQ Nordic, TikTok, Ubisoft, and Xbox.
Both PlayStation and Nintendo have confirmed they won’t be in attendance at the event.
