With Samsung getting done with its Galaxy S22 series launch across major global markets, including India, the company now seems to be readying the revamped version of its Galaxy A series devices. Rumours have long revealed a lot about the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 models. And now, the latest bunch of leaks have revealed almost everything about these two, and a bunch of other Galaxy devices.
Based on information from tipster Shadow Leak, it seems the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 won’t be substantial upgrades over the outgoing models. The Galaxy A53 5G will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone will have a 64MP main camera accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP depth and probably 5MP macro camera. This one will ditch the Snapdragon 778G in favour of the Exynos 1200 chipset. The phone is likely to have a 5000mAh battery, retain support for 25W fast charging, and ship with Android 12.
The Galaxy A73 5G has also leaked, sporting a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Surprisingly, the Galaxy A73 will use the lesser powered Snapdragon 750G chip. The phone will have a 108MP main camera alongside a 12MP camera, another 8MP camera, and a 2MP fourth camera. It seems the A73 could be getting a telephoto camera this year.
The phone is also said to rely on a 5000mAh battery and will retain the 25W charging support. This one is also said to ship with Android 12 out of the box.
Samsung is also likely to release two more A series devices along with these phones. The Galaxy A23 5G will come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This one will use the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and ship with Android 11 out of the box. The phone will rely ona 5000mAh
