Samsung had recently unveiled the Galaxy S22 series in India as its flagship offering for 2022. The range consists of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus as the sub- ₹1 lakh options, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the best equipped phone Samsung has to sell. Samsung is now hosting a mega unboxing event on March 5 for those who had pre-booked the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Samsung says that the event will oversee over a thousand customers unboxing the phone simultaneously in 17 cities.
Other than the unboxing event, Samsung will giveaway a few limited-edition boxes especially created for this event. Samsung says that the limited-edition box will contain the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 for free along with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. To further its agenda on eco-friendliness, it has included a special thank you note on seed paper that can be planted.
Certain customers who had pre-booked the phone will also get early access before it goes on sale in the market.
The Galaxy S22 series will go on sale from March 11. Customers pre-booking the Galaxy S22 Ultra will get the Galaxy Watch 4 worth Rs. 26,999 at a discounted Rs. 2,999. Those pre-booking the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 will get Galaxy Buds 2 worth Rs. 11,999 at a discounted Rs. 999.
Additionally, Samsung says that the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series customers will get an upgrade bonus of Rs. 8,000. Those who do not have flagship Galaxy devices while other device holders will get an upgrade bonus of Rs. 5,000.
