FX Renews Restaurant-Based Dark Comedy The Bear For Season 2
FX has renewed its TV series The Bear for a second season. The first season, which has 8 episodes, is available on Hulu to stream. Fans are loving the comedy about characters working in a restaurant, which has an impressive cast including chef Matty Matheson, who plays a handyman named Neil Fak. Christopher Storer created The Bear, and he is known for directing episodes of Dickinson, Little Voice, and Ramy.

Carmy moves back home so he can take over The Original Beef of Chicagoland, the restaurant that his brother Michael (Jon Bernthal) ran before his tragic death. The show focuses on the present and the past, sharing what it was like for Carmy to work in fancy restaurants before making this big life change. Carmy also tries to understand his brother better and he is compassionate toward and supportive of Michael's struggles.
