Full House's cast wants to do another spin-off despite Bob Saget's unexpected death in January. The actor was known for hosting America's Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997, and voicing older Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother. But he was best known for playing Danny Tanner in the '80s/'90s family sitcom Full House, as well as its offshoot, Netflix's Fuller House. His co-stars over the years, as well as his fans, were shocked when news broke out that Saget died at the age of 65.
Despite Saget's real-life raunchy brand of humor, he effectively played a dorky single dad in Full House. As Danny, the straight-laced, clean-freak patriarch of the Tanners, he imparted valuable lessons to DJ, (Candace Cameron-Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweeting), and Michelle (played alternately by Ashley and Mar-Kate Olsen). Even as his daughters grew up and started to have their own families in Fuller House, he remained an important figure in their lives, providing the same guidance to his kids and grandkids. Understandably, it would be odd for the Tanners to come together again for another spin-off without its leader, but Full House's cast says they're up for it.
