Craig Conover of Southern Charm and Summer House opens up about what caused the rift with his longtime friend and castmate, Austen Kroll. The two best friends have appeared together on multiple reality shows and are known for one of the strongest bromances on television. Recently, however, Austen's behavior while visiting the Summer House crew in the Hamptons is causing friction between the two.
Austen ignited a messy love triangle from the moment he entered Winter House by toying with the emotions of both Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard. While he showed interest in pursuing Ciara, which included making out with her on multiple occasions, he also enjoyed a flirtation with Lindsay and convinced both women he only had eyes for them. Once he arrived in the Hamptons, his playboy behavior only increased further, as he continued to show interest in both women, and refused to commit to either. While Ciara seemed to genuinely care about Austen, fans became suspicious that Lindsay was using Austen to make Ciara jealous.

Meanwhile, Austen's best friend Craig was focusing on his budding relationship with Paige DeSorbo and growing increasingly frustrated at his friend's womanizing behavior.
