Announced back in December of last year via a short trailer, we've been patiently waiting on additional information regarding Fate/Samurai Remnant — the latest project in the long-running Fate franchise.

All we know about the game is that it's an action RPG with a feudal Japan setting. It's being developed and published by Koei Tecmo (with supervision from regular Fate studio Type-Moon), and it's targeting a worldwide release in 2023.

It must be fate

Our knowledge of Fate/Samurai Remnant may be expanding in the near future, however. As spotted by Gematsu, the PS5 and PS4 title has received a rating in Taiwan, and these kinds of ratings can often mean that news is close. We'd be well up for a gameplay trailer!
