The launch of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 brought a party to the island with a new biome, the debut of new weapons, and much more. Most recently, Epic Games made Indiana Jones available to unlock and introduced the Charge submachine gun. The content keeps on coming, as another patch has been deployed. The latest update sees the Combat assault rifle and Bargain Bin Weekend make their return to Fortnite.
The Combat assault rifle has been taken out of the vault and added to the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 loot pool. With a tight bullet spread and some recoil, you’ll need to steady your shots when shooting at any opponents from long range. However, the weapon is versatile, as it can also be effective in close-quarter combat. If you want to get your hands on the Combat assault rifle, it shouldn’t be too hard to come across. You’ll find it all over the island.
In addition, we are only a few days away from the return of Bargain Bin Weekend. If you aren’t familiar with this or you need a reminder, the event brings with it some big discounts. All character prices will be slashed in half, so you can talk to a character and splash out. It’s definitely worth your while, as you’ll be able to obtain cheaper exotic weapons, items, and much more. Bargain Bin Weekend begins on July 15 at 9 AM ET and ends on July 18 at the same time. During this weekend, there will be daily quests relating to gold bars, meaning you can get your hands on some extra XP as well.
Notably, the Combat assault rifle is not included in Fortnite competitive playlists and neither will the new prices during Bargain Bin Weekend.
