One of the few games that have helped pave the way for the genre has been Fortnite, a game that captivated players worldwide. We’ve continued to see Epic support this title and deliver thrilling new events, crossovers, and maps. However, some fans always would like to step back to the good old days. Fortnite OG offered just that as it stripped back the game to its early years. 

This Fortnite OG mode was not something that was permanently put into the game. Instead, it was a timed event that players could enjoy. We know this event is coming back in 2024, but just when we could see Fortnite OG pop up has been a mystery. Epic has yet to unveil its arrival date this year, but thanks to a report from The Gamer, it seems some fans might have pinned down a date. In particular, there’s a clue from a glider that might have some fans focusing on a release this May.

A fan posted on Reddit noting that the Time Brella glider has two dates. What makes this significant is that the way to earn a Time Brella glider is to win a Fortnite OG match. With one date as far off as June 8, 2068, there is one date for 2024. That is May 4, 2024, and some fans are wondering if this could be the date for when Fortnite OG will be making a return. Of course, there’s also the focus on this date being attached to Star Wars. With it being Star Wars Day, it could indicate a crossover event happening.
