Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: All Pirate NPC Locations
As part of the Cursed Sails mini-event, players can meet four Pirate NPCs from Among the familiar faces players might encounter are franchise heroine Elizabeth Swann, iconic villain Davy Jones, and Captain Jack Sparrow himself. Each Pirate NPCs sells various helpful utility items, including maps that lead straight to buried treasure.
When exploring the best landing spots in , players can sometimes encounter NPC characters. These NPCs play a larger role in ongoing story and will often trade various useful items and services for Gold Bars. Some sell weapons and utility items, while others can be recruited as AI-controlled squadmates. new Pirate NPCs have some unique items to sell.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 features 12 NPCs players can trade with, recruit or duel. Players can also battle NPC bosses to obtain special gear.

Players can also accept the Black Mark from Davy Jones. This marks the player's location on the map for three minutes. Anyone who survives earns 100 Gold Bars, making this a great way to quickly earn some Gold Bars .
Most of these items have fairly niche uses, but players may still want to pick them up as an unwelcome surprise for their opponents. Of the items offered by the Pirate NPCs, the Buried Treasure Map is perhaps the most interesting. When held, the map points towards the buried treasure, with a literal X marking the spot.
